Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸 We hope you had a great weekend. This week, we have continued to monitor feedback from our beta-testing firms, and have made small but important adjustments to improve their overall experience.
1. New Feature: Clarification Follow-Ups 🔍
To improve the quality and efficiency of Compact, we’ve implemented a new feature: clarification follow-ups. Instead of making assumptions about what type of work users want produced or stopping entirely, Compact will ask users questions mid-task, to ensure that the final result is exactly what they want.

2. Updates: Agents, Image Processing, & Document Changes 🆕
Improved AI Agents 🤖
Like usual, we consistently look for ways to improve our AI agents. This week, we upgraded the agent network so Compact can handle more complex legal tasks with better research, drafting, review, and task handoffs between gents.
Image Processing 📸
We realized we completely overlooked the fact that attorneys may want to upload image files (JPEG, PNG). So we’ve added support for that!
Documents: Preview & Generation Pipeline 📄
Previously, document outputs produced by Compact must be downloaded to be viewed. We’ve changed that so you can preview the file, follow up with Compact to make any additional changes, before downloading the final output.
Click on the document under “Files” to preview the content.
Lastly, we’ve implemented a document generation pipeline, which means that Compact’s outputs can be structured document (DOCX) files based on templates.
