From the implementation of a new feature, to seeing the unexpected ways our beta testers have been using Compact (one of them uses it for SEO Optimization??), we’re excited to share what we’ve accomplished this past week. So let’s start! ⭐

1. New Feature: Open Loops 🔄

Instead of having to prompt Compact every single time to check your inbox, calendar, and Clio for “clients I haven’t responded to,” “upcoming meetings,” and “important tasks I haven’t started,” you can now scan through all these platforms with the click of a button.

Notice the “Scan now” button at the top right hand corner of your Dashboard.

We’ve named this feature “Open Loops.” Open Loops can be accessed through your Dashboard—right above your Command Center—or by clicking into it through your sidebar.

2. Updates: Integrations & AI Agent Performance 🤖

Firm-Wide Integrations to Per-User

Previously, integrations (e.g., connecting your Google account) would be applied firm-wide. Now, we’ve switched over to have integrations be “per-user.” That means that your own individual Clio, Calendly, Microsoft, etc. accounts will not be accessed by other members of your firm when they make changes through Compact.

Folder-Gating

You can now control and specify which folders Compact can access in your Google Drive, box, and DropBox.

You can even specify subfolders!

Faster & More Consistent AI Agents

We’re constantly looking for ways to improve our AI Agents, and now they work a lot faster!

June 8, 2026: 5 mins and 26 secs

June 16, 2026: 1 min and 16 secs

We ran the same, tricky prompt from last week’s newsletter (“Identify the controlling precedent…”), and Compact was able reduce research speed from 5 minutes and 26 seconds down to 1 minute and 16 seconds!

Furthermore, we’ve also made our AI Agents smarter.

Instead of hallucinating and failing to recognize a negative space in the law (the absence of a ruling) once again, this time, Compact automatically flagged it.

TL;DR: There is no controlling Ninth Circuit precedent establishing or adopting the "fiduciary exception" (the Garner doctrine) to attorney-client privilege in shareholder derivative suits.

- Compact, June 16, 2026

Not only that, but our research and citation checking agents have continued to prove themselves to be surprisingly powerful. One of our beta testing attorneys told us that out of the 80+ times she has used Compact, there has been no hallucinations and wrongfully cited sources!

3. Use Cases: What have our beta testers been using Compact for? 🧐

One of our attorneys (Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning) told us they have been using Compact for 3 main tasks:

  1. Preliminary Research

  2. Document Checking

  3. SEO Optimization: Gathering Ideas for Website Posts/Content

    1. Our attorney has been requesting Compact to send “Weekly Estate Planning Legal and Regulatory Updates” so that they can be the first to write about these newest legal changes and boost their firm to the top of search engines!

They were so excited about the results that Compact returned that they had print and sent a copy to us! We’re so happy that you love it! ❤️

(You can try it yourself as well! Tell Compact to perform a task daily, weekly, monthly, etc. and it will automatically do it for you!)

Andrew walks through this prompt to show how it works in Compact. Check it out in this video below! ⬇️

4. We’re Still Looking for Beta Testers! 🚀
